COVID: Javea Bar Octopus Ordered To Close for 4 Weeks And Fined €40,000

The very popular Octopus bar in Javea has reportedly been forced to close for 4 weeks and fined €40,000 for consistently breaking COVID-19 social distancing guidelines.

Repeated failure to stop customers drinking at the bar, smoking, and allowing more than six in a group, despite three official warnings led to the enforcement of the fine.

Maybe this is a lesson to other business owners who think they are above the law.
